Hi, I had this problem a while ago too. As far as I remember I posted an answer to your question. Look in the archives of last month for a thread 'NEWBIE: bootdisk for powermac'. I have the OF parms at home, I do not remember them now. 'man nvsetenv' will help you a lot.
