Maybe I'm misunderstanding what "low-level format" implies, but you should be able to use mkfs like this: mkfs -t ext2 -c -v /dev/fd0 I don't have a ppc machine with a floppy though, so I can't test it. ---- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
