While I was trying to debug mysql, I found that gdb doesn't seem to want to work..
Is this a known bug as well? I'm not sure wether or not this is an issue with linux/ppc right now... gdb mysqld [gdb output] (gdb) run Starting program: /usr/local/libexec/mysqld Don't know how to run. Try "help target". ... btw, this bug that mysql is experiencing seems to be related to glibc 2.1 and non-intel machines. According to some earlier posts mysql used to work with older libc libraries. Also according to some mailing list posts, 32-bit sparc machines are affected by this bug. now if gdb only worked.... Josh
