Ah, thanks for mentioning this. I should have explained it. The problem is that the text include one or more paragraphs matching the license short names is somewhat ambiguous. To my ears, the reading that jumps out is (1) I might want to provide one, two, or even more standalone paragraphs, according to my preference, and (2) each one of those paragraphs should simultaneously match all license names from the Files paragraph. Clearly that is wrong, so I wanted to disambiguate. Therefore I wrote: include a paragraph matching each of the license short names which is intended to convey that for each license short name mentioned in this Files paragraph, there must be (at least) one standalone license paragraph. Now based on your response, I suspect you misread "each" to mean "all". Can you suggest an alternate wording? For example, maybe something in this spirit would work: If there are no remaining lines, then all of the short names or short names followed by license exceptions making up the first line must be described in standalone license paragraphs. Thanks for looking it over. Sincerely, Jonathan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-policy-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
