Theres also another thing that came to my mind. There might be
conffiles that are shareable, but that must be present at boot
time. /etc/resolve.conf and /etc/hosts would be examples for
that. Those must be at each host seperatly, but should be the same on
all hosts in a pool. May /etc/sync would be a good idea to go along
with /etc/share. Also both should be specialised to specific
architectures, i.e. /etc/sync-i386 and /etc/share-i386.

Just some more to think about at night. :)
