Because we were in this thread asking about the "real meaning" and the "right interpretation" of the words "higher priorities". Since Ian Jackson wrote those definitions, he knows better than anybody what it really means. When I said "I really hope" I just meant: I hope that you (Richard) accept that the meaning of something is what the person who wrote it says it means. (I think Humpty Dumpty said something about this). And no, the fact that Ian Jackson was the project leader is not directly related with this (in fact he is not the project leader anymore, now it's Wichert Akkerman).
