I believe it's also true for RFCs - translations and reformatting are explicitely allowed (as well as making money from them), but that's about it. And with standards, I do think that that is reasonable. (And I seriously doubt you'll get any standards organization to agree to anything different.) Oh, wait, newer RFCs all contain an explicit copyright, as follows - what do you think of that one? Personally, I believe it does everything that's actually neeed, and we shouldn't ask for more. B.
