There's a GTK2 version of CinePaint. The configure option is --enable-gtk2.

Some CinePaint plug-ins require FLTK. But, it must be the threads-enabled FLTK version. CinePaint CVS won't build on Debian without that. Is there a deb equivalent of the fltk-threads rpm? What to use for that on Debian?
