Alright, would it help moving forward if I were doing that? Reverting to 2014.65 is easy, and the current 2015.68-1 could always be uploaded once 2014.65-1 has entered testing. It'd be quite sad to upload known bugs in a package containing multiple lintian warnings and errors [0], but if someone is willing to review and upload the package, but only with the split of dropbear-{bin,run,initramfs} and without the many extra bug fixes, then I'm ready to clean, test and release [1].
