Wonderful! That was quite painless. Not had chance to build in it yet, but will do soon. It feels quite nice having a debian commandline within my Ubuntu, and accessing it as root with no danger to the Ubuntu installation.
Sorry for making an off-topic remark about installing Debian. When I've got time, I might have another go. I'd quite like to explore a native Debian system again. It's been a few years, and I can see it's changed a lot since then.
