Package name: xca Short description: x509 Certification Authority management tool based on QT4 Long description: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- XCA creates and manages Certificate authorities and helps the user to create and manage keys, certificates, certificate sign requests, certificate revocation lists etc. All data is saved in an encrypted, portable database, and can be exported in various standard formats. XCA is also available for MacOS X and Windows systems. For a good workflow, certificate templates can be defined to make the creation of new certificates an easy task. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The package has an active upstream and I know the author in person. An older version of xca is in sid and squeeze. Packages for the current upstream version (tested and lintian clean) are prepared here: http://tikei.de/debian/xca/ This new version is very simple, it's just a new upstream version with all paches removed, as they were merged upstream.
