So, that means for me that: - I will stop compiling TeX Live including surrounding programs with poppler but use the built in xpdf library - security team will have loads of pain to support, but I cannot care for that - I will actively try to *REMOVE* support for poppler in upstream TeX Live and surrounding binaries, as it is anyway useless If this is the way poppler is going ... so it be.
