Hi mentors, Could someone upload new poppler-data package to NEW queue? http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/poppler-data/poppler-data_0.4.0-1.dsc
From 0.3.0, poppler-data was released under new license that suit to DFSG so would go to main section. But it excluded some files from 0.2.1. I checked that with upstream author, Ken Lunde from Adobe, and confirmed that is now okay to upload. The changelog is below. > poppler-data (0.4.0-1) unstable; urgency=low > > * New upstream release > - now add "Mapping Resources for PDF" (Thanks to Adobe!) > > http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/pdfmapping/Mapping+Resources+for+PDF > (Closes: #548181, #558225) > - drop "*-RKSJ-H CMap resources", see NEWS.Debian file. > * debian/source/format: switch to source format 3.0 > * use debhelper7 > > -- Hideki Yamane (Debian-JP) <henr...@debian.or.jp> Tue, 22 Dec 2009 > 11:53:45 +0900 > > poppler-data (0.3.1-1) UNRELEASED; urgency=low > > * New upstream release > > -- Hideki Yamane (Debian-JP) <henr...@debian.or.jp> Fri, 27 Nov 2009 > 21:35:55 +0900 > > poppler-data (0.3.0-1) UNRELEASED; urgency=low > > * New upstream release > * move from non-free to main > * debian/control: > - move it from non-free to main, because of non-free part of upstream's > license is changed, now it is distributed under BSD style one. > * debian/copyright: > - reflect CMAP upstream (Adobe CMAP license) change. > - The cidToUnicode, nameToUnicode and unicodeMap data files are Copyright > Glyph & Cog, LLC and are under the GPL2 license > - new style format suggested as "Machine-readable debian/copyright" > * This release has missed some important files such as Adobe-Japan1-UCS2, so > I still want it to stay UNRELEASED. > > -- Hideki Yamane (Debian-JP) <henr...@debian.or.jp> Wed, 11 Nov 2009 > 18:28:50 +0900 > debian/NEWS is here. > poppler-data (0.4.0-1) unstable; urgency=low > > * Drop below fifteen "*-RKSJ-H CMap resources" > - CNS01-RKSJ-H, CNS02-RKSJ-H, CNS03-RKSJ-H, CNS04-RKSJ-H, CNS05-RKSJ-H, > CNS06-RKSJ-H, CNS07-RKSJ-H, CNS15-RKSJ-H, GB-RKSJ-H, GBT-RKSJ-H, > HK-RKSJ-H, > Hojo-RKSJ-H, KSC-RKSJ-H, KSC2-RKSJ-H and TCVN-RKSJ-H > > Those files were included until 0.2.1, but were excluded from 0.3.0 by > upstream. > > Those were used for the production of "CJKV Information Processing" First > Edition and are obsolete and deprecated. > > We can see any PDF files that was created with those resources without > those > files because application such as FrameMaker would change the encoding to > "Identity-H".
