Has that line been dropped? Maybe I'm thinking of the ITP template but if the mentors.d.n one doesn't have Language, maybe it should. Besides, it is only a template and is meant to be expanded substantially when preparing the RFS. Using 'reportbug wnpp' and selecting ITP, I get: Programming Lang: (C, C++, C#, Perl, Python, etc.) A lot of sponsors rely on information about the programming language(s) used in order to decide which packages to consider for sponsoring. When that information is omitted, I (and possibly many other sponsors) would feel justified in ignoring the request. So which language does the package use? > I installed this service about a month ago, and feedbacks from my users are > extremely positive. Anyway I respect your (authoritative) point of view and so > I'm going to drop my ITP. It was only my point of view, giving some idea of why I (and by the looks of it, other sponsors) ignored the first request. If you don't feel that you can justify the ITP, feel free to close it. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
