Hi Kapil, So basically, the concept would be that on workstations, no work is done in the home directories, but in chroots instead? In the end it looks similar to the Amazon elastic computer cloud. Such a concept would definitely be very flexible for users and admins, and I would definitely be eager to try it if somebody builds a user-friendly free software equivalent. I just noticed the zeroinstall-injector package in Debian. I will give it a try, and if it looks functionnal, I will suggest to use Debian instead of CentOS to our admins next time we buy a shared workstation.
