I haven't contacted the mpd/gmpc official Debian Developer, my idea
was to have my package tested and approved and then ask him if he was
interested in maintaining the package, but you are right, mpd, gmpc
and glurp are different softwares.

I'd be really excited to maintain this package for the Debian
distribution, and would be pleased if you could sponsor this package's
upload.

I've submitted an ITP bug on glurp (#292433)[1].

I've read your Debian homepage[2], and can say i *do* intend to become a
Debian Developer (DD) in the future, but atm i don't have my gpg key signed
by any DD ( in fact, not signed by any one as my old key was
compromised, and the current one is quite new ).

Anyway, next week holds the "Solution GNU/Linux 2005" meeting in
Paris, where I'll be receiving at the debian booth for the 3rd year, so
I can hope some of the DD present on the 3 days will agree to sign my
key.

If all this key-signing thing matters do you, we can delay the upload
until next week.

Many thanks for your interest.

<first package big excitement and lots of joy>
