I'd like to do a review of any package (apart from my own) in the current NEW queue. Who's waiting for a review, and is willing to review _my_ package in NEW? ( I believe any DD can do a review, right? )

I'm not a DD and don't have any sponsored uploads in new at the moment either, but I *have* been excitedly watching wiremix, looking forward to it finally landing in sid. I tried building it myself from the source package in the meantime, but sadly lots of its dependencies have updated since it was uploaded so now it's going to need a bunch of adjustments including new upstream version to deal with the newer deps.

The new queue is such a black box, it's unclear to me how the DFSG team and former ftpmasters dealt with that sort of situation in the past. Does the maintainer wait for the broken package to get approved, or keep pushing updates into new? And if the latter, does that reset the queue position/get treated as a brand new submission which starts the review all over again?
