You said earlier that you want a sponsor, if by that you meant that you
want this package to be uploaded to Debian then it cannot use /usr/local
or /opt. Otherwise, the Policy doesn't apply to unofficial packages that
won't go into Debian so you can do whatever you want in those and it
doesn't make sense to fix all lintian output in them. debian-mentors@ OTOH
is not a correct place to discuss those.
