It is not a problem for packaging this right now, as Debian currently has Python 3.12. But, this lintian tag was added now because a lot of these changes require upstream to alter the program, so everyone needs to start working on it now. If this isn’t fixed when Python 3.13 because the default in Debian, the program will cease to function. So, you don’t need to worry about it for the sponsorship of this package now, but you do need to start working with upstream to get it fixed soon. >> 4. As mentioned in the comment on Mentors[1], I would recommend you include the package under the Debian Cryptocoin Team.
