I added a reference to the license and the copyright (Carmix is a nickname so I also added my real name in brackets) in the README.md file in the root of the repository

You should shortly get an acknowledgment and find your package in the NEW queue and it requires manual processing (only the first time). Please be patient, one never knows how long a package will wait before being processed. Last week one my packages left it in 4 days, but once it lasted 7 months... You will get an email once it enters unstable or is rejected. Please update the Salsa repo with the latest version :) You may tag it with "debian/1.7.1-1" once it enters unstable. I have juste changed the date in d/copyright: 2023 -> 2024 to be consistent with the year you put in README.md. You can also change it on your side. Also, for next time, it would be more customary to install the icon(s) in a subdirectory of /usr/share/icons, browse this directory on your own computer to see how it is organized, and see packages that install some, like persalys or artemis e.g.
