Uploaded a new version +dfsg.1-1 on mentors with your explanation in debian/copyright as suggested by Lintian. Also updated debian/watch to correclty remove the suffix as suggested by Lintian and https://wiki.debian.org/debian/watch#Common_mistakes. Best regards, Romain.
