Truth to be told, almost all packages in Debian are "repacked" either by applying a different compression (ZIP to TARXZ) and/or stripping out incompatible/unnecessary files. And as a result, almost all packages would have had a "+repackXX" in the version strings, which is quite unnecessary. The Android Tools team does not have such tradition of adding that suffix. I repacked it manually because `uscan` (or specifically `mk-origtargz`) failed to do so with an error, which happens on many of our packages. It was reported [1] but seems the fault is on `tar`. Hans probably didn't bother to do it so he simply imported the original tarball anyway... Additionally, 8.1.0+r23 is never uploaded to the archive, so adding a "+repackXX" suffix isn't really mandatory. [1]: https://bugs.debian.org/831870
