  Ok, so let's call it gphoto2_2.0beta3.orig.tar.gz.

  I'd advide then, to call the stable release :
  gphoto2_2.0final.orig.tar.gz

  And the next stable version will be called:
  gphoto2_2.1.orig.tar.gz and voilà, we saved our soul.
