Greetings,

I'm currently langui^H^H^H^H^H^Hwaiting in the NM queue. I haven't got
many big goals; I basically want to adopt a particular set of packages[1]
and maybe either be on documentation or QA. I notice that other people
in the NM queue seem to often occupy their waiting time with ITPs and
getting sponsored; however, I haven't seen a case of someone in the
NM queue who just wanted to adopt a package, and I wouldn't know how
sponsoring works in that case.

In particular, I want to (eventually) adopt the fvwm[1] packages. I have
toyed with the idea of contacting the current maintainer offering these
packages even though I haven't been contacted by an AM yet but I'm
not sure if that's right or wrong.

In other words, I'd like to do something useful in my position but I'm
not sure what. Should I just package some little apps? Add some icons
to fvwm-common? Just go back to auditing random source? Help me... :)

[1] FVWM is the one true window manager. All others are too inflexible
or too heavyweight. And GNOME-compliance is coming in fvwm 2.4. Hee.
