The moderation script for debian-security-announce (and most definitely also debian-lts-announce) does a few sanity checks in addition to the PGP key validation. One of them is about the footer ending in "Mailing list: debian-security-annou...@lists.debian.org" and with your MUA appending a signature that breaks. Cheers, Moritz
