Using live-build is a "fairly easy way" of creating your own live
system applying all the customizations that you can think of. You can
install the documentation, since it is a package called live-manual or
even read it online at http://live.debian.net/

If you do not care about the "live" part, you can download unofficial
images of the debian installer with non-free firmware at:

http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/
