Hello Daniel, So, when i understood right: 1. encryption (aes-loop) works only under lenny, but there is not possibility to tell lenny where to look für a persistent (live-rw) partition & 2. the newer Version of live-boot won´t work with lenny then i ask me: Where is the point in offering the possibility of encrypted live-debian ? Encryption for non-persistent Systems would make no sense for, or am I wrong ?
Wouldn`t it make sense to mention this "live-crypto-problem" somewhere in the Manual ? I´d love to ad support for booting from dm-crypt rootfs with current live-boot. But unfortunatly i have absolutly no clue how to do this. By the way: I think it should not be a possibility to encrypt the "carry-around-system", it should be normal Standard ! But i figured out, how many packages you are maintaing, so I am far from urging you. Do you have any hint´s for me where to start from, when I (an interested noob) what to become a "live-boot" developer ? Many thankx for all the work you are doing here for the comunity !
