The possibility for further modifiers to *add* unmodifiable sections (Invariant Sections, Front/Back-cover Texts, ...)? With this permission in the license, a work is Free (as long as it doesn't include unmodifiable sections in the first place), but can easily generate derivatives that are non-free. This could be undesired by a copyright holder who wants a copyleft Free license... Anyway, Roger, consider that, one exception or additional permission after the other, we are approximately moving in the GPL-2 direction. I really recommend to choose the GPL-2 itself, as it is really the most studied and understood copyleft license. At least in dual license with the GFDL, but GPL-2 alone is my recommendation... -- | GnuPG Key ID = DD6DFCF4 | $ fortune Francesco | Key fingerprint = | Q: What is purple Poli | C979 F34B 27CE 5CD8 DC12 | and commutes? | 31B5 78F4 279B DD6D FCF4 | A: A boolean grape.
