But make sure this "clarification" functions as an additional preamble
or an additional permission rather than as a patch to the GPL which
might create a new version of the GPL incompatible with other
versions.

Consider, for example, a case where two people write GPL
documentation, but one writes that the "source" must be in LaTeX and
the other writes that the "source" must be in Lout.
