Hi people, I'd like to package (when it's a little more ready) zope_messages, a new zope email product with a zope-like license.
The "Thingamy Public License" is based on the Zope Public License -- it's the ZPL 1.0 with some clauses removed and the names changed. Eric Enge, one of the authors, has told me they're planning to update this license when the ZPL becomes GPL-compatible. Two questions: Is this (in its current form) DFSG compliant? (I believe it is.) If not, what changes should we request? Do we want to suggest changes to make this GPL-compatible *now* rather than waiting for the ZPL to get there? Maybe Thingamy can lead by example (I don't speak for them). Thanks.
