If you're willing to remove ChromeOS completely, most chromebooks have: - a developer switch or write-protect screw which will allow you to reflash a normal BIOS - and can then have Linux installed, completely taking over the local storage. https://mrchromebox.tech/ will be useful to you. -dsr-
