Hello...I wanted to know if anyone has been able to use Debian wheezy on
the laptop Dell 7535.

Is this a new model?

I have been able to install Debian on the laptop successfully...however
I got some issues after installation:

- No Sound

Try

$ alsamixer

and check your soundcard settings

- Can't control screen brightness

This problem might be solved after installation of the kernel from backports.

- No Wifi..i have already followed the steps on
(https://wiki.debian.org/WiFi) and tried several drivers but it still
does not detect any wifi connection.

Maybe you need a driver from a backporst package.

http://backports.debian.org/

Don't forget to run at least

$ dmesg -l emerg,alert,crit

after installing backports stuff.

If ok, run

$ dmesg -l err,warn

Please help..I really want to use Debian on my laptop..

Who does not? ;-)

Thank You

Kind regards,
Jan-Rens.
