I'm not sure. But what are you trying to accomplish with these stanzas?
I mean, they are identical, so why not have a single line 'iface eth1
inet dhcp'?
Koen
The reasons for the two different stanzas is because they are different. One uses WPA and one uses shared WEP keys. Now, the way I have them set up, yes, they are identical. Mainly it was set up this way only for testing purposes: so that I could have two different setups for two different wireless networks.
Albeit you are correct, the way these are set up, they are identical. However, very soon they wont be. :)
On another note, the "-w" option on wpasupplicant doesn't seem to do anything. I've read the documentation and tried with it and without it. Maybe I have a broken driver? Either way, the "-w" option only seems to work on certain drivers (there are a few patches for broken drivers), but ipw2100 and ipw2200 are not one of them as far as I can tell.
Any further comments would be appreciated.
