Hello, my laptop is a peacock freeliner xp and i read that it has problems with recognizing the pcmcia and indeed, during the boot process when the pcmcia kernel starts the laptop halts. i don't konw how to solve this problem! i read also that i have to start writing NOPCMCIA=yes and to rewrite the /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia but know i'm even not able to boot with the option NOPCMCIA=yes.
