Typical speed is 4200rpm. Whether your Dell can gain from the faster
bus speeds available with more recent drives will depend on it's age, I
imagine.
How many models of Dell i8k are there? Lots, I thought.
I've bought a Travelstar 5400rpm drive myself (60G) which supports
ATA66, but I haven't quite had the guts to try switching my older A21p
Thinkpad to a faster bus speed :-)
