For _accelerated_ XFree86. (Trust me, it's much better) get
Branden's XFree86 4.2 pacakges, then grab the new trident_drv.o
from http://www.xfree86.org/~alanh/ (I think that URL's correct...)

I can give you an XFree86 Config to go with that driver if you like.
