For what it's worth, I was the originator of this thread, and I *did* find the extra info on how to create init scripts to be very helpful. The extra tips I get from this group are helping me to prepare for my Linux+ certification exam. This is my second month of using Linux on a daily basis, and there's so much to learn! So, the support I get form this mailing list is the best! What else can I say?
