I have a Xircom CE3B-100BTX (10/100 ethernet card) and knew nothing of this. I went to their web page to check if it is a 16 or 32 bits. Answer: 16 bits :`(( What they say, and I already knew it, is that the card works in full or half duplex mode at 10Mb/s and only at half duplex mode at 100Mb/s.
