I a problem with my sound card, I am not sure what happened but all of a sudden my sound is 'slow'! dmesg shows:

if I boot up using a knoppix cd clocking is set to 44607(or thereabouts) and sound works perfectly!
can anyone tell me how to adjust the clocking?
