-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- I have to run Knoppix with "knoppix noscsi noapic noapm" on my Vaio to get it past the unique hardware. That's one of the nice things about Knoppix, you can turn things off.
It's also nice that the hd install process is simple and straight forward. However, I had to enter noscsi etc at boot by hand the first time before I could add it to /etc/lilo.conf. Knowing that ahead of time would have saved me some headaches.
