Stop gdm from running, and you will stop at the console login prompt. I think this command will do it, but you might want to check the man page: update-rc.d -f gdm remove -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
