and a generic Debian 2.2 installation will work without

Does the USB port work? I'd like to use my Canon PowerShot S10
with gPhoto.
Of course, I still hope to win the lottery and buy a Powerbook G4
with the NeXTSTEP/BSD based Mac OS X.
