Thanks.  Could we have the corresponding "dmesg" output snippet, too?
(ideally with notes on how the timing corresponds to the commands run)

Your original report included a log with

        [ 4309.262135] iwlagn 0000:03:00.0: RF_KILL bit toggled to enable radio.

radio.

Is that when you switched the hardware rfkill switch?  Is the rfkill
switch set to "enabled" or "disabled" now?

Please also try version 3.2-rc7 from experimental.  Full "dmesg"
output from booting up and reproducing the problem would be useful.
If it also reproduces the problem (and I don't see any reason for it
not to) we can take this upstream.
