It would tell us who to contact for help.

Unfortunately nothing not already applied jumps out at me in "git
log v2.6.32..v3.1 -- drivers/usb".  So for tracking down the cause,
the simplest next step would be to try a few versions between 2.6.32
and 3.1 (maybe starting with 2.6.37 and bisecting from there; see [1])
to narrow down what fixed it.

By the way (just noticed in passing): kernel maintainers, does
v2.6.37-rc4~62^2~3 (USB: EHCI: AMD periodic frame list table quirk,
2010-11-08) look like a good candidate for backporting to stable?  I
can't see why v2.6.32.y would not be affected by it.
