Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.32-38 Severity: normal
Previous versions of this package, for example 2.6.32-31, had no problem booting on this hardware. Version 2.6.32-38 spontaneously reboots during the boot process unless hyperthreading is disabled. (Says something about activating 2nd CPU. I'll try and get a serial console hooked up tomorrow to get the exact message). -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 2.6.32-5-686 (Debian 2.6.32-38) (b...@decadent.org.uk) (gcc version 4.3.5 (Debian 4.3.5-4) ) #1 SMP Mon Oct 3 04:15:24 UTC 2011 ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-686 root=UUID=08954096-775f-4ba9-9095-1abf28a22da6 ro quiet ** Not tainted ** Kernel log: [ 7347.542308] [<f7ce02d7>] ?
