Good to know. Claiming the bug so you won't be bothered by updates in the future, and marking as unreproducible so heroes with that hardware can know their testing will be appreciated. It's possible v2.6.38-rc1~423^2~43 (Staging: rtl8192u: add missing curly braces, 2010-12-10) fixes this. It's hard to check without having the hardware to try. The driver in squeeze you were using is rtl8192su, and that patch doesn't apply there.
