Well, it’s Debian Stable, with the following changes: Newer kernel from backports (2.6.38 and now 2.6.39) Newer transmission-daemon from experimental (2.32)

I think it’s very strange that the term.log for the second run looks completely different from the first run, but maybe that’s because most of the needed packages are already upgraded. The first run (the one that failed), started with package dacrut which is were it wrong immediately.
