 ok.

 could you kindly send, to the bugreport, the output of the following
command (last 150 or so lines, not the whole lot!)

 hostname$ ls -altr /var/lib/dpkg/info/*.list

 this will tell what packages have been installed, and, importantly,
the time(s) at which they were installed.
