There is - write to /sys/bus/scsi/devices/host<n>/scsi_host/host<n>/scan (substituting the SCSI host number for <n>). If the 'squeeze' version of scsitools still makes use of /proc/scsi, please report this as a bug in that package. > Can it be enabled in future Debian kernels?
