[...] Oops. I will fix this in the next version. For now, you can either: a. Remove linux-base. b. Set the 'boot' parameter in /etc/lilo.conf to the proper path under /dev/disk/by-label/ or /dev/disk/by-uuid/ (which is what linux-base should have done), then run 'dpkg --configure linux-base'.
